Thanks Tom
I been wanting to do this for a while but guess I kind of forgot to try. Well I saw a pass of fo29 was coming up tonight so I got it setup in about 10 minutes. Took a bit to install software and get it setup. I got all the cables switched over and was ready with minutes to spare.
I was using fcdpro+ with hdsdr and ft897 all hooked to satpc32.
Results were pretty good. Got on frequency with myself fairly quick and then worked kg6nub, wa4nvm, and aa5pk before the pass was over.
Kg6nub was also using a very similar setup except he was controlling ft817 manaully for the uplink.
Hope more people try this out as its pretty fun to see the whole passband at the same time. Only downside is having to swap coax cables for mode j to mode b passes.
