At 13:00 UTC Voice of Korea (North Korean shortwave) is still reporting the information Satoshi reported below. They also claim the satellite has been turned on and is broadcasting the Song of the Great Leader, or something like that. They stated a UHF transponder will be turned on soon?
They also talked about the American beast, and the evils of Japan. I suspect the bird is in the drink, But I may tune a radio to 470 MHz and leave it on today.

North Korea's satellite did not make it to orbit, the North American Aerospace Defense Command says.

The word is they launched. Has anyone heard the bird yet? Anyone have
any
frequencies to listen to, other than the 27 MHz of the last one?
