I purchased a new Yaesu G-5500DC.

Ensured continuity for each pin on the female connector to the corresponding screw on the controller box. Meaning pin 1 to screw 1 and so on. I only connected the Azimuth so far.

I powered the control box turn it on and depress the left button and then the right button and nothing happens. I was expecting the azmuith rotator to turn...

I rechecked continuity from the pins on the female connector to the screws on the controller box and they all seemed good. However, I noticed that screws 4 and 5 on the control box have continuity for azmuith. Is this normal? I noticed that scres 4 and 5 of the elevation screws also have continuity...

Does anybody have any suggestions on troubleshooting?
