Hello Greg and the BB,
There is an announcement on the front page of the AMSAT web site about the ballot problem. There will also be an announcement in this week's ANS. A new colored, ballot with correct instructions is being sent out and will be the one counted.
Sorry for the problem.

Received the AMSAT-NA BoD 2009 Ballot in day's US Mail (July 18). I perceive inconsistencies (potential confusion) in the Ballot Instructions and 2009 AMSAT Ballot.
Letter from AMSAT BoD, first paragraph .... "This year there are four positions up for election."
On 2009 BoD Ballot itself: "#2 Select no more than three of the four listed candidates ...."
Five candidates are listed <<
SELECT NO MORE THAN THREE
This is above listing of the Five candidates <<
============= Even though 4 BoD positions are open in this 2009 election, and 5 candidates are listed on the 2009 Ballot .... This means .... Only a maximum of 3 candidates may be chosen by an AMSAT member on the 2009 Ballot ?
