Looking for volunteers.

If you live in, or plan to be in the Dallas, Texas area on July 20th, why not consider helping with a fun, public outreach for Amateur Radio and Amateur satellites.  “Moon Day” at the Frontiers of Flight Museum is Saturday, July 20th from 10AM to 4PM.  This is a space themed STEAM event that attracts 1200-1500 visitors who interact with multiple displays and organizations.  Amateur Radio is well represented with both the Dallas Amateur Radio Club and AMSAT having a presence.  For AMSAT, we have the Cubesat Simulator, cubesat engineering model, displays and demonstrations on how satellite orbits work, and parking lot demos of amateur satellite contacts.

All who help get free admission to the Museum for the day, and lunch is provided as well.

I would love to give you more information.  Please contact me at either tschuessler at amsat.org or N5HYP at arrl.net.  I do need to know by next weekend, the 13th, in order to let museum entrance staff know how many workers to expect.

73 and hope to see you there.
