Hi all,
I heard this afternoon YUBI'y on asceding orbit over E.Europe (14:30 Z). Signals were 53-57 with just a 6 El Yagi horizontal polarized.
BTW the receiving signal remains to me the..... Woody - Woodpecker !!! (if you put the Mode to USB.)
The signal was easily received during the whole pass @ 435.312, without signifficant fading. I observed also that the Doppler-drift was minimal - no significant for USB, so I think the transmitting signal is probably FM.
I used an external MIC for the recording. In practice the audio was very good. I noticed that the transmittion following a tempo , about 60 sec "Woody", 4 sec pause, again 60 sec "Woody", 4 sec pause... etc etc.
