Hello LR,

Earlier this year I programmed my TH-D72 by hand for Satellite APRS and that is still fresh in mind; have not tried the software - that sounds like the better way.

The problem I found watching the YouTube videos is that authors always leave out the "obvious" basics that are not so "obvious" to first time users.

If you're interested - feel free to reach out to me on how to program the Kenwood manually without the PC link; one of these days I'll learn that other way too.

Very interested in working the APRS satellites using my Kenwood TH-D72, but repeated efforts to correctly program the radio are proving frustrating.

Wondering if anyone has a fully programmed TH-D72 that works the APRS birds reliably who might be willing to share their programming file? It’s always easier for me to modify an existing file than to start from scratch.

I use both the Kenwood software and the RT Systems (which I much prefer) software to program the rig.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
