Making up my own satellite group is exactly what I'm trying to do. However, the docs don't say I have to work "under the hood" and search my hard drive and edit configuration files the author has hidden away in order to accomplish this.
Proper, up to date documentation would solve this problem.
Thanks anyway,

Why not just make up your own groups like I did....
Edit one of the existing .SAT groups to your liking, then rename and save as a xxx.SAT. There in the users xxxx AppData Roaming SatPC32 directory...
Easy peasy...

Hi Dave,
Same problem. I see the group called Weather (mine doesn't have a NOAA group) in SatPC32, and it has the 3 satellites I'm interested in. But when I run WinAOS and select a sat group the list has Weather1 and Weather2, neither of which is the same as the Weather group in SatPC32!
It's very frustrating, and the documentation is inadequate.
Thanks anyway,

Ken,
Out of curiosity why don't you just use the Group "NOAA" that comes standard with SatPC32 instead of making a new group with the same satellites?

I created a new satellite group containing the three NOAA APT

The group was (I think) successfully created. I can re-start the
program
and it's still there.
Now I want to use it with WinAOS to see when they are passing over. I open WinAOS and click on the Sat. Groups button in the dialog box to pick my group but it's not listed there.
Section E.2 - WinAOS of the online manual is only 2 lines long and says nothing about how to import new satellite groups into its list. It does say "Please read the instructions" except I can find no other instructions.
Help!
