I stocked the shelves at the AMSAT Online Store with LVB Tracker Complete. A limited number are available.
Shipments will not go out until after Christmas due to long lines at the post office. There is no choice in the color of the LED, some are Blue and some are Amber. You get what is in the box when shipped.
Do not forget, these make great stocking stuffers and under the tree gifts. Although you will have to box a card saying one is on the way after Christmas.

Hi Jeff, Further to the discussion on the fake chips etc can only recommend to go for the real stuff. No cheap FTDI imitations nor Prolific ones as I was running constantly into a lot of (driver) problems. Long story but after some time of driver problems decided to throw all cheap(er) ones out and go for the 100% real. Since than zero problems. Have the FT-736,FT-817 and IC-910 all connected this way at the same time to HRD. All my problems were gone once I decided to only use the original FTDI sets as eg advertised e.g. on http://www.g4zlp.co.uk/unified/YaesuCAT.shtml. 73 Albert PD0OXW

As you place orders for the holiday season, if you use Amazon.com, please remember that you can place your order at smile.amazon.com and a percentage of your order will be donated to AMSAT.
I just placed another order on Amazon and used smile.amazon.com as I usually do. I had not noticed before, on the main smile.amazon.com webpage, under the search window is a "Supporting Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation" showing who my donations go to. Hover your mouse over the wording and a pop up will show you how much your orders have generated for AMSAT. If you click in the pop up window on "Your AmazonSmile impact", it will show you how much everyone's orders have contributed to AMSAT.
My orders alone have given AMSAT $33.09 and all of the other people that have used smile.amazon.com have given $1,325.93
That is not bad for not doing anything except ordering what you normally would. This could really be used as a no load fund raiser. It costs AMSAT nothing to receive a donation and it costs the person ordering from Amazon nothing to choose AMSAT as their supporting charity. It is a win/win for everyone.
remember.... smile.amazon.com to place your amazon orders. You can place everything in your cart at amazon.com, just remember to go to smile.amazon.com when you are ready to check out.

Finally tried transmitting into a 43 degree pass for SO-50 and was heard by two stations (K8YSE/Y and W0DHB)!
Unfortunately they never heard my response; but I be smothering myself transmitting from inside the snow covered sun room. Might also be poor microphone technique.

AMSATs in New England and Cape Cod!
You?ll be the last to get hits from the balloon. It is now (1700 EST) out south of Nantucket and heading east. Got one hit from an IGate in Boston. Should have a few more hours range to good Oscar stations?
Its on 145.825. Call is AD6AM-13
