Actually Gould did it, I was just the test signal, and a poor one at that. We will continue to tweak it over the course of the evening until we get it right...it is way too hot right now.

Due partly to the very low modulation level it took me four passes to get my uplink frequency correct into SatPC32. On the 21:24 low Eastern pass I talked to myself. On the the 22:58 pass just completed Drew turned up the deviation but it is now overkill and on my signal dissplay it covered about 30KHz. Turned my mike gain away down and was able to work VE2DWE. Several other stations were on but could not make out any calls.
Birds and situations like this make satellite operation interesting and challanging.

I worked VE3NPC this AM with good signals both ways and heard VE2DWE in the noise occasionally. Tuning is quite fast, and was done by hand here, mainly because I did not have the proper modes and frequencies loaded in SatPC32. The audio could be brought up some, and we'll look into that. Plenty of radar pulses this morning too.
