Some how XW-3 was changed to XW 3. The csn sat tracker is ok with the space.

Note:  The AmsatNames.txt file that Mark talks about is for SatPC32.  Not all programs have that.

And this week, none of (CAS-9, XW-3 HO-113) are in nasabare.txt.  Instead it is XW 3 (with a space).  I'm not sure what programs will be happy with the space.  (I only found it using the catalog number that Mark posted),

Please fix!  Thanks.

Ray,

There is no HO-113 in this week's nasabare.txt or nasa.all. That could change next week.
However, if you go to ? > Auxiliary Files > AmsatNames you can add an entry like this:
50466 21131B   HO-113
Be sure to keep the format/spacing the same as the other entries in that file. Save it, and then re-start the program.

The AmsatNames.txt file tells the program to ignore the satellite name and use the catalog number instead. Since catalog numbers are unique, but this satellite now has three names (CAS-9, XW-3, HO-113), using AmsatNames can help avoid confusion.

It was just by chance that I avoided the problems that have occurred because I switched to using amateur.txt to keep up with XW-3 / CAS-9 / HO-113 just before the problems cropped up. So two questions now:
1. Should I switch back to using nasabare.txt or stay with amateur.txt?
2. If I switch back to nasabare.txt, I don’t see HO-113 listed. How do I get an update for that?
Tnx,
