SSB on either 145.870 or 145.930. It is on all the time when it is daylight, except when it isn't. More seriously, there is an erratic dropout of the transmitters. My own experience is that it is on 145.930 more often, but that it is off more often than not. Assuming a typical ground station, it is easy to hear if it is on at all. Even on a good pass, it is not unusual for the signal to cut off suddenly, then come back in a few seconds. It just requires persistence and patience.
