Last year I took my Kenwood TH-D72 HT with a Diamond RH77CA whip antenna to Maui, BL10 and was able to have QSOs with Chris VE7CEW, Christy KB6LTY and Lyle WB7VUF via some low western AO91 passes.

I also worked Gabe AL6D when he was in Maui & Oahu from my QTH in DM04 via SO-50 earlier this year.
