That lack of attention to detail was my experience as well with the 436CP42UG. I also had to cut one element to size.
In addition, the instruction sheets for the CP switching assembly cover both models of the beam, in theory. However, there are some very significant differences in how to run the phasing lines, and the manual, dating for 2000, is simply incorrect for the larger beam. After a lot of head scratching, and repeated unanswered e-mail, I called and got someone who pulled their copies, which were also wrong. We finally got it sorted out, and he said he would try to get the documentation updated. That was 2 years ago. If you bought the 70-CP switching assembly, I would be very interested to know whether the docs have been updated from the 2000 version.
