Michael, for fine-tuning of the uplink frequency it's best to use the "Upl.Calibr." controls in the menu "CAT". Once you hear your downlink signal from - say FO-29 - with the correct audio pitch click the button "Change/Store Data File". In the window that opens click on "Store ....Uplink Calibration". While doing this you may watch the frequency list in the menu CAT. You will see that the uplink value on the highlighted line will change accordingly (and be saved) and the correction value above the SatPC32 frequency window will be re-set to 0.
The uplink frequency calibration function works only with SSB sats. With FM sats the nominal frequencies can be left unchanged. If a change is required it can manually be done in the (text) file "Doppler.SQF".

I asked this before, but I probably wasn't very clear. I just installed SatPC32 and really like it. it is a very well written package.
One feature I really like is that it is possible to fine-tune adjust the offset between uplink and downlink frequency. This is a very useful tool as, for me; I find that I need about +2kHz correction on my uplink to
bring
FO-29 right onto my downlink frequency. Problem is, once you close the program, this offset is lost. Is there a way to save that offset in the Doppler file or somewhere else so I don't need to keep entering it?
Thanks,
Michael K3MH
