Amsat Folks,
Any recommendations as per sstv software? I was looking for something open source, so that I could perhaps hack at the code in my free time. My only find was Digital Master 780. http://www.ham-radio-deluxe.com/Downloads/GPLOpenSourceCode/tabid/61/Default...
Are there any others around? I wanted to put this out there to see what other more experience hams have used. Thanks in advance!

MMSSTV is probably the most popular from http://mmhamsoft.amateur-radio.ca/mmsstv/

As far as open-source goes, QSSTV comes to mind:

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's being actively developed anymore, and the current release leaves a lot to be desired in terms of functionality. Still, the code is fairly workable. I've messed with it a bit myself on and off.

If you want open source, Linux would be the platform to look for it on. I use QSSTV on my OpenSUSE box; seems to work pretty well. The source is readily available on the Web.
