I am looking to get another Mode S downconverter. I remember seeing one from Italy I think that could convert to either 2m or 440 for the converted signal but cant find the link anymore. I exchange emails with K5GNA but he is out of stock and may not have anymore for a while.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

try http://www.keps.it for the dual IF downconverter. It's the 13LNC72-DB

Keps is in Italy and has no US distributor that I know of so be prepared to pay a pretty price since we have such a weak dollar at the moment. I chanced upon a Pacific Monolithics MMDS converter on e-bay awhile back but I haven't used it yet. The particular one I have has an 123MHz IF. The surplus ones are a little hard to find, you have to be ready to pounce when you see one. I think someone already mentioned it but downeast microwave is another option. 73, Michael, W4HIJ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ronald Nutter" rnutter@networkref.com To: "amsat-bb" amsat-bb@amsat.org Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2008 1:00 PM Subject: [amsat-bb] Source of Mode S downconverters ?
