The Houston AMSAT Net is now being carried live every week on Echolink in the conference *AMSAT* on Tuesday 8PM Central Time (Wednesday 0100z summers and 0200z winters). If I get word that there is an ARISS contact and the *AMSAT* conference is being used, it will preempt the net. After June 1, 2009, Echolink will be the only method of receiving the live feed. We will no longer feed the live internet feed that we had been doing on SkyScanner Satellite Radio Network. Our podcast and mp3 files will be available as usual after the net is complete.

I'll be at Edwards if the shuttle lands in California this weekend. Are there any air-to-ground rebroadcasts audible from the airfield? The lists I can find online are quite old and it's not clear if they can be heard at the landing site.

I am hoping for a landing at KSC at the SLF since that's where I'll be.
If you don't have to worry about your cellphone minutes, NASA rebroadcasts the transmissions at:
321.867.7135
I usually dial it up, put it on speakerphone, then I mute my audio. Works pretty well.
