Is there an AMSAT Brandmeister Talkgroup?
I have discovered how easy it is to talk to ham around the world using the Brandmeister network and an inexpensive hot spot device. Right now I am listening to TG91 which is world wide and really enjoying it. I have seen several special TG listed and wondered if any AMSAT organization has a TG and if so what is the number?

GIYF (google it).
There is a talkgroup with number 926728, but this is not an official AMSAT TG. I used extended routing to connect to it, but haven't heard activity there.

I'm pretty sure it's been disabled since they changed the way the talkgroup numbering is being done.
This was discussed a couple weeks ago on the AMSAT Facebook page. Like I said on Facebook, if someone wants to create a new AMSAT talkgroup just email the Brandmeister adim team and request one. Brandmeister isn't like DMR-MARC so all talkgroups are available on the network unless a repeater owner specifically blacklists it which is highly unlikely. There were also comments that it should be numbered as a worldwide vs US group which really doesn't matter other than making someone feel good. Again....all Brandmeister talkgroups are available throughout the network.

Cheers for the update. Don't have FB and haven't been following BM news lately. I have some time on my hands this week and I'll mail the BM admin I know about it.

Brandmeister TG98006 is labeled AMSAT. Not officially recognized?

I'm on 98006 if someone wants to try to see if it's working.
