Folded Dipole Dimensions
I'm trying to home-brew a pair of crossed yagis; one for 2 meters and one for 70cm but I need help with the dimensions. I want to use folded dipoles for the driven elements. What size should they be to be resonant at: 1. 145.800 MHz 2. 435.000 MHz

Hi Jim, W0HV
In a separate email I have sent to you a drawing with all size and information to build a 2 meters and 70 cm folded dipole with 4/1 coax balun.

Hi folks:
I would greatly appreciate your help with using SATPC32 for a contact with the International Space Station this Tuesday. I have been using the program successfully with satellites, but it does not seem to be tracking the ISS correctly. When I use SatPC32ISS, I notice that the AOS time is 5 to 10 minutes different from what is reported on the NASA "real time" tracking web site. Since the ISS has been quiet lately, there seems to be no way for me to confirm if I'm tracking it OK. I've updated the Keps through the main program's "Satellites" menu.
I thought that I would have a little more time to work on this, but they just moved us up in the schedule!
Any advice would be most helpful.
Ken, N6KTH
If you have been doing comparisons today, your keps are old. The ISS did a major reboost early today and that will cause your times to be off. It will take a bit for the predicts to catch up but you need to have the latest keps downloaded for the day of the contact.
If you download a new set this weekend, you should see the predicts line up with the live NASA telemetry.

OK, I guess I must just be having trouble getting the current Keps. The software and tracking system is working perfectly with the satellites.

Hi folks:
Can you display the "blue marble" maps in SatPC32ISS (note: the ISS program)? There is no BM/PI button on the ISS program.
Thanks,
Ken, N6KTH
Ken,
You are right that there is no button, and it does not seem to "inherit" the setting from the main program. _Apparently_ not.
