On this note. This will be my first time at the symposium and i'd love to see some videos on youtube. Then when I tell my friends about it, I could say "yeah just youtube 'amsat symposium 2009'". Each uploaded lecture could be titled appropriately, etc... and a small summary could be provided (either by the author or from the description provided on the website). And of course, if there are speakers that do not wish to have their presentation posted on youtube, that would be respected.

Unfortunately, I do not own a digital video camera. But, I will have my macbook with me and could bring a portable terrabyte hard drive. If someone has a digital camera that they'd be willing to bring to record, I could see about getting the videos converted and put onto youtube as the day progresses. I'm assuming they have good wireless at this hotel or a good wired connection from within the rooms.

Is there anyone that typically records the talks?

If someone is already tackling this, let me know. If you think teaming up on this would be useful, do not hesitate to contact me.

For the record, I will be arriving on thursday evening that week.
