A comment; Google will often dig up some good stuff, but, because the way some amateurs title their personal web pages and use descriptive text, and googlers select search phrases, not even Google can get all the neat stuff. I'm sure some really fine setups don't even get published to the web.
If AO-51 will be running in L/S or U/S mode more often during its full sun period, perhaps some of the replies to Drew could be copied to this list for everyone to tweak their systems.
Once-upon-a-time, AO-51 had experimenter's Wednesday when those who were building their own 2.4 and 1.2 patches, helix, etc had an opportunity, within the next week or so, to test their construction skills. I miss that, but, with the second radio on AO-51 running less conventional modes on a regular basis, we again have that opportunity. For me, that means I might be able to continue tweaking my setup and install a more permanent version on the roof before the snow flies.

Hi Drew, here is my mobile setup for AO-40 mode U/S. I´ve worked lot of stations using this little gear:
UPLINK: Kenwood TM-455 with my comet SBB-5 dual band mobile antenna (fixed on the roof of my car).
DOWNLINK: Kenwood TH-F7E HT with a pair of earbuds + Wimo PA-13R-20 Flat Panel Antenna (33cm x 33cm) with a DB6NT converter.
