I have enjoyed the SatSat app on my iPhone, but over the past few months it has been giving me incorrect pass information. Frequently it is 2-3 minutes late (or more), and often shows passes as much as 20-30 degrees lower at maximum elevation than SatPC32 or other apps, such as ProSat.

Hi Mark, only making suggestions based on using the app for a while---
1-try deleting the satellites and adding them back. 2-double check your GPS function is "on" or that you have the proper grid square entered
About the only time I've seen weird stuff is when the object number was an issue, usually after a launch for example. I haven't been able work any birds for a couple of weeks, but prior to that---haven't seen anything strange.

Thanks, Mark.
I've already done both of those items. The "Active Location" shows EN35HD, which is correct. And I deleted all of the satellites and made sure to select them from the AMSAT list in "My Sats." Yes. In my case, CAS-4A and B are shown with AOS’s that are around 15 minutes late. That started a couple of months ago. Seems to be getting worse. Elevations have always been a little different on all sats since day one. My grid and coordinates are correct. Will try deleting and adding to see if it improves the Zhuhai twins. RayKN2K

I believe SatSat may not fetch directly from AMSAT. At one point I had to ask him to get a satellite (AO-85, maybe?). So he may have fallen behind. I use it too and did not notice a problem, but I'm just using it to figure out when to head for my shack :-)

I've contacted Fabrice, KK6NXK, the author of the app. He seems to think that the app is not actually updating some of the kep sets, even though it says that it is. He's looking into it. I'll report what I hear back from him. -- Mark D.
