MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL.
I think that I may have asked this before, but I have slept since. SORRY
I DO NOT want to use UISS software as it is primarily for sound modem installation. Previously, I received good replies, but most suggested the UISS software and AGWE usage. I have a TNC and want to use it. My question is for those Ops that are using "other" terminal programs. What terminal software is operational with Windows 10? Most that I find online are older programs, even in DOS. My computer does not like that.
I guess that my solution is to find a compatible terminal software, configure it properly for use through the ISS and go from there.
ANY suggestions will be appreciated.

Jerry you may want to try a simple terminal program such as the one that came with Outpost - ipserial, I use the one from the SantaClara ECS group. or the one that came with RMS EXPRESS, for winlink. they work on my W7, Pro, 64bit. this is all manual setup, and crude compared to the UISS software modem, but it works. good luck 73 Christy KB6LTY
Gerald, Merry Christmas! The UZ7HO sound card modem is much better with weak signals than a TNC or AGWE (now outdated). Not sure what terminal program would be a good alternative to UISS (This is what I use) which is the gold standard for working the ISS.
