I remember makeing many qso's with him on aprs via iss,pacsat,ande and raft. He will be missed.....by chance do we know what he died from?

I just checked the PCSAT-1 downlink, and this was the last entry for him:
KB1GVR-9 pcsat * 57:00:07:47
So he was last heard via PCSAT-1 57 days 7 minutes ago or about 1620 EDT on about 20 June 2011. But there was no position given, so we do not have a copy of his last packet (on FINDU anyway).

I just had my first ISS packet QSO with him on July 24, and there was a couple ops asking how his arm was and I think he was involved in a tractor accident. My prayers goes out to his friends and family
