This was Richard's first day on ISS. He got SSTV running (sort of) just a few hours after the hatch was opened and managed a few general contacts. The SpaceCam system seems to have issues with keying the radio and not sending images. Because of this, imagery is not likely to be sent when the radio cannot be easily monitored. This means that SSTV transmissions during the crew sleep period (roughly 2030-0600 UTC) is unlikely. You may need to adjust your sleep schedules to provide yourselves with the best chance of contacting him during his awake hours or to receive SSTV.
Tomorrow begins the first full day on ISS for Garriott so we should have twice the opportunities we did today.

The last pass over my the west coast I received two pictures. Very good signals. Both were a view out the window.
