A 1u cube satellite cost < $50k Just get a university to sponsor it. A bird that can get out to 1200 KM is < $150k . Three of these sat would get us several hours of coverage a day. AMSAT has approximately 4000 members so raise the dues $20 a year and by year 2 you have the money.
Thanks

Hi Nick K5QXJ
AMSAT-NA has much more than approximately 4000 members ! Look at the following message signed from Rick Tejera K7TEJ AMSAT member 38452
So raise the dues $20 a year and by only year 1 you have appoximately $769040..........a good donation to AMSAT-DL for P3E ! ! Only one HEO satellite would get us several hours of coverage a day all over the globe or I am wrong ?
