LoTW Station Locations
I am planning on beginning my rover operations and need to know how to set up my station locations in LoTW so that I can have a different grid count for each grid I am working from. Just worked AD0HJ yesterday from grid EM57, which is not my home station grid, and need to upload the contact. Tnx. HELP!JerryKJ4EUSent via the Samsung Galaxy, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
I make a new location in TSQL for each place that I operate. Typically I only use 4 character grid squares, but you could do more if you wanted to. Then you pick that location when uploading the contacts. If you have multiple locations within a single log, you will need to break them up before uploading, unless they are on different days that could be used to filter them during upload m

https://i.imgur.com/uWDogXs.png In TQSL use the Station locations tab to creat a new location. Frill in the appropriate fields and save it with a name that makes it easy to understand where it is for.

In the TQSL app (which signs the request), you select Create a new Station Location under the Station Locations tab. Then when you sign the ADIF/Cabrillo file with a cert you are giventhe chance to select the location. Depending upon what logging software you use, parts of this might be automated. For example, DXKeeper automates much of that QTH selection process but you still need the station location in TQSL.

I did it another way. Two of us just roved in 7QP for HF and I had the all the QSO's grouped into stats/counties and grid locations (4 characters. 2 states, 18 counties, & 7 grids I only changed the station location information of my current certificate combination for each group of QSO's. I sent them in to LoTW. and repeated the changes for the next group.
For me that was easier and less confusing of having multiple same callsigns in my TQSL and this was a once a year event. It appeared that if you stay in "your" county, the Station Location can be manipulated however you want. Just remember to restore it for you QTH. For the Canadian Parks and ARRL HPM 150 events I got a different certificates for N7AME/VE7 and N7AME/150.

That would work for a one time thing. If you go into LOTW and click on your QSO that you submitted this way, does the proper grid show up on your station info?
It all depends upon how you do logging as some programs make it more automated than others. I have club callsigns, 10 locations, my own callsign, special event calls and even DX callsigns KP4/NY4I in TQSL so one more location isn’t an issue. Thank heavens DXKeeper keeps that all straight for me.
Good luck,

For you Thomas, multiple certificates and callsign locations is much better solution. Mine was a once-a-year event and for me it worked.
Your question is yes. It's the first thing you change and if you are on the line of two grids, enter both with a "comma" between them.
