...contact on AO-73?
I think I have my station working, so I am going to try to work the pass around 3:27 UTC tonight. If anyone is on that would be great
This will be my first attempt on anything other than SO-50, so it could be a little rocky.
Steve, W5IEM
I'll be there. A few others should be too.
Keep in mind that the uplink frequencies are a bit off from what is published. Will you be manually tuning for Doppler?

The plan is to have a Yaesu 857 for the uplink and a laptop/Funcube Pro+ for the downlink. I am still having issues with AO-73 and SatPC32, so I will be manually correcting for Doppler.

Steve,
I have been making contacts on AO-73 the past two weeks with the same setup. I do have SatPC32 talking with HDSDR using Virtual Serial Ports (VSP) just fine, but you will need to manually tune. It takes a little practice. Have fun!

Hi Steve,
Well, I didn't find you but I did work K4FEG and heard NX9B, so that makes Frank my first AO-73 contact. Just wanted to say thanks then Steve, for stirring things up and getting my head out of Fox and on the air!

I could hear Paul but never clearly. I have to do some more work I guess because I could never hear myself.

Steve,
I heard a LSB signal briefly. If that was you, remember that the transponder is inverting, so you should uplink in LSB to come out in USB.
Jerry - heard you right at your LOS, hope to work you on another pass!
