Hey,
I just got my manual for the Spirit-2 packet controller that I was sold for $15.00.
As far as I can tell it says nothing about modes of operation.
When I called and asked they could tell me what kind of stuff it can do but they did not mention GMSK which is what I am interested in doing.
I need help here guys, I at least want to monitor the GMSK stuff and perhaps pacsat when it comes to life again, perhaps.
Looks to me like I am going to look for a used radio that interfaces with tracking programs.
As far as the cost for this venture, $190.00 + $15.00 was not bad to come up to nothing.

Alan,
It'll do GMSK. You got a great TNC--it's my favorite.
Try it out on RAX-2 (with a 9600 baud capable radio of course.)
