Just heard ISS in QSO with school
I have just heard today 26/07/2012 at 14:15 UTC, aprox. the ISS in a QSO with a school!!!! Such great experience!!!! Really really a joy. It took me by surprise as I was not aware of an ARISS contact scheduled because i didn't read the last ARISS report.

As a docent at KE4ZXW, Virginia Air and Space Center's Amateur Radio Group, I was there. A successful contact with NA1SS was made. We were pleased with the outcome. There were about 15 kids asking questions. Our 10 minute pass was long enough that some kids got a second question.

You can always find the latest information regarding ARISS School contacts at:
Click on "enter the site" and then scroll down about 1/4 of the way and you'll see the upcoming contacts. You can also check the ARISS Facebook page. In addition most of the telebridge ARISS contacts are carried on the AMSAT Echolink Conference, JK1ZRW Echolink Conference and IRLP node 9010 and if you send me your email address I can add you to the telebridge contact notification list.
