Need a little help with sub tones, using SATPC 32 with an Icom 910.What should be entered for SO-67? Believe need the instruction code for the radio, could not find. Could someone provide what should be entered? ThanksĀ Jack WA1ZDV
Hello Jack, the data line for SO-67 in the file SuBTone.SQF should look as follows: SO-67,233.6,$01,36 The spelling of the satellite name must exactly match the spelling in the Keps file. The format of the first value (233.6) is used by the IC-910H and the Yaesu transceivers FT-817/857/897, the 2nd ($01 = hex. 01) is the code of the Yaesu FT-847 and the 3rd (36) the code of the Kenwood transceivers for the 233.6 sub tone. With the FT-736R the 2nd value had to be $20 (hex. 20).

I hope the answers will be via the BB so that the rest of us can learn. I also have the same question. My fallible memory says we load the tone information into the 910 window before turning on the computer.
