Hi all! I know this might not be proper procedure but I finally found the time to get on one of the birds tonight, ISS. I managed to work two stations. One in San Francisco and the other was an "8" call around 0650z. My problem...no place to write anything down and standing out in the backyard with a TH-D7A(G) in in one hand and an Arrow antenna in the other! I know, a tripod is on the agenda. :) Please drop me a note!

A lot of us use a recorder of some type to eliminate this problem. I generally use my iPod and a recording attachment for it, but you can pick up a tape recorder at Radio Shack for a decent price.
Hope to hear you on the ISS!

Hi Andrew!
Thanks for the info.
I was thinking about that too. Actually I could load Audacity on to the laptop then insert a splitter, one to the headphones, the other to the laptop, track, record and listen at the same time.
