Hi all,
During a QSO with ZS4A at around 13:13 UTC yesterday AO-07 when suddenly silent in spite the signal both side was very good and still in the middle of the pass.
Mid-day today I tried it again on both modes during a overhead pass, still silent. I will trying again on next pass today which is still a daylight one but low ele of 4.8 deg. if bird OK it should work as normally I access as it appears on horizon.
Has anyone access AO-07 after 13:13 UTC yesterday 24/02/2018?

It's worth remembering that using too much power will flip the satellite mode so when its silent its most likely downlinking on 10m.
If this happens a lot and there are only yourselves on the pass best thing to do is reduce your output power. max should be no more than 100w ERP.

Peter,
Thanks for the input.
I use normally 5w into 10 db antenna with about 6 db feeder loss (70cm) at all initial call on satellites. With AO-07 I need minimum of about 15W to go through clear, sometimes more.
Just to state that it is not overpower causing the issue (hope fully not one).
Last pass at (max ele. 4.8 deg.) went through well.
I will continue to observe as something was definitely not “normal”.
