This AMSAT group is great! Ask a question and it does get answered!

My summary of what I have so far: M2 Eggbeaters are probably OK for working the ISS since ISS has a strong downlink. The antennas may be OK for the AO-73 telemetry when the satellite is 300mW telemetry watt and higher than about 20 degrees in elevation. If those things are more or less true, the Eggbeater will probably suit my purpose.

I had not planned on working the other satellites with the Eggbeater. I get on SO-50 once in awhile out in the backyard with my HT and an Arrow antenna. I'm not a power-hitter, but I'm averaging at least one QSO per pass and I'm good with that.

Still open for suggestions, if anyone has any more before I decide what to do.
