If you use QRZ.COM to lookup call info - Please read this !
The data center that QRZ has the servers has had a fire and they are without power and have had to shut down the generators at the request of the Houston FD. Please check the following URL for up to date info - http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/06/01/the_planet_houston_data_center_fire/

Based on the information at the link that Ron supplied, it appears that QRZ.COM is located in the first floor Phase 1 section of the hosting company's datacenter. That means that they probably won't be back online until this evening, since that is the area that suffered the most from the explosion and electrical fire. Fortunately it's being stated that the damage was confined to the electrical supply system and not the actual servers.
From the sounds of it, this is not a small facility. They have 9000+
servers located there and are probably on a first name basis with the local power company.
This is why you have disaster recovery processes - these guys have been working 24-7 since the event to get service back to their customers.

Hmmm... Actually, I did some digging and everything related to QRZ.com seems to point to a host in Arizona, not Houston.
Perhaps the outage is just some kind of cosmic coinky-dink?
