Their are Two (2) Linear Transponders : Narrow (250 kHz) and Wide Band (8 MHz) — I would suggest that you FIRST focus on your DOWNLINK (Receiver) setup. While Commercial solutions will require $$$, numerous Ku-band satellite TV components exist in the global market — as starting points for DIY builder. DIY solutions will require previous “Maker” / “Builder” fabrication skills & technical knowledge.
