Re: [amsat-bb] Looking for someone from AMSAT/sat expert
QRZ lists address of Abington PA area (3 land caught my eye).
I'm more interested in what repeater it is, so I can listen in!

Area would be northeast PA but will not have to be in the local area to persent. The local wanye county 146.655 repeater would be the group. -------- Original message --------From: Roy Dean royldean@gmail.com Date: 2/28/18 7:14 AM (GMT-05:00) To: amsat-bb@amsat.org Subject: Re: [amsat-bb] Looking for someone from AMSAT/sat expert QRZ lists address of Abington PA area (3 land caught my eye).

I know this is a hobby of radios and everything, but wouldn't this be better as a skype presentation during a club meeting, or a webex or go2meeting?
If such a talk is successful over a repeater, I'd like to know. Maybe that's what ham radio needs to get more repeaters out of silence.

There are talks on technical topics every week on the Long Island Amateur Radio Club repeater (LIMARC). They have New York City as an audience of course. So it definitely works.
