I have two questions. Is there a Droid app for satellite tracking?
I have the HyGain Oscar Beams that are about 20 years old. It appears that one of the relays is shorted. Does anyone know a repair for this or do I have to get the $65 replacement from HyGain?
Thanks
Bob, WA9JDR

YES, there is a Droid apparently, it's called HamSatDroid. You can find it in the Android Market, just do a search for ' amateur radio ' it works very well.

Bob,
Yes there is an Android App called HamSatDroid available for free from the Android Market Place.
Works well. Once you run a prediction, touch that pass and a sky radar map view will showup and give you a live overhead pass view. This lets you follow one satellite in real time along the pass path.
I used it extensively during my KH6 Dexpedition in March-April.

Like everyone said, HamSat Droid is the app for Android platforms. Though good companion apps are DroidSat, Amateur Radio Log, Compass, and Grid Locator.
