AO-27 may return, once again...
Hi!
I saw on the AO-27 web page:
that the satellite is transmitting once again. From the schedule posted on that page, it appears it will be transmitting several minutes of data on the same passes it would have been on in the past (for a few minutes over the Northern Hemisphere). Let's hope all checks out well, so this satellite can return to normal (for AO-27) operation soon.

Hi all,
just had an 83 degr pass over Europe and AO-27 was transmitting 1k2 AFSK telemetry.
I could decode 843 packets -> about 47 kByte :-)
Can someone give me more detailed information about the WOD telemetry format, please ? Who is the responsible station in Europe for AO-27? I can send you the *.kss file. Any further information are very appreciated.

You can download the AO-27 telemetry software from the AO-27 website, www.ao27.org/AO27/tlm.shtml, and then e-mail your data to data@ao27.org

If you are a user of my son's Java AO-27 Schedule lister, be sure you download the latest topr.txt and epoch.txt files!!! You won't get valid listings without them!!

Had short contact with Mike N3UC Ground Station Control on the 18:25UTC pass over NA as he switched between analog and digital several times.
Great signals from AO-27 but I didn't get any telemetry on this pass as it was my first try with AO27TLM capture and this operator was fumbling to get the old PacComm manually into AFSK, the BAT file edited for /OT and the non default port and speed of /R9600 and /COM2.
I'm now set. Nice to have the challenge collecting data on another digital sat.

Just worked Mike n3uc on AO-27 on the 2005z pass, and heard several others on the bird. it looks like AO27 is once again open for business! It got busy , so I didn't get a chance to ask Mike about a schedule. Enjoy...

Just heard some data from AO-27 on the last pass over the eastern part of the US.
