TeikyoSat-3 – Slime Mold from Space
Students from Teikyo University plan to transmit images of Slime Mold growth from space using amateur radio.
Wiki lists their satellite TeikyoSat-3 as launching with several other satellites carrying amateur radio payloads in June 2014.

I watched my DVD copy of it a few days ago. It's one of the best science fiction movies ever made.

Right after my last post, I put it on. Just finished watching.
Yes, it's a real classic.

It's certainly much better than the made-for-TV remake of a few years ago. That version was absolutely dreadful.

All,
I decided to buckle down and make an open source Google Earth based satellite tracker. See: https://code.google.com/p/ge-satellite-tracker/
It is designed to pull it's ephemerides directly from space-track.org, so you will need an account to use it (for now). Eventually, I will get around to implementing all the fancies I rendered for arissat-1.
The code is currently in its infancy, so I am open to questions, comments and suggestions.
