It was sad to hear that one of our most active satellite operators and dx'ers has passed away. Nick KB1RVT has been around since I started working satellites in 2006 and as K8BL mentioned, he has worked everything with "portable equipment." He has likely worked more European Grids on LEO satellites than anyone else in North America! He was the voice of Fox November Three Four. We will miss hearing him on the birds. May he rest in peace.
