KD8CAO and K8YSE completed an unscheduled 2 way ssb qso on the ARRISat satellite this morning 5 August 2011 at 1125z. Signals were weak but readable. My keps were way off as the doppler shifted 1700 Hz from AOS till overhead elevation. If it had a uhf antenna, we would be doing a lot better, but whatever it has does work if you have big antennas. Using a KLM435-40cx and a KLM 2M-14C. Just amazing. 73, John K8YSE
