Satellite frequency coordination
From what I can see, QBITO does not appear to have been coordinated by IARU either. Some countries, such as the USA, require IARU coordination in order to use frequencies allocated to the amateur-satellite service. Even if licensed by a country which does not require it, IARU coordination is very helpful in giving your satellite project the greatest chance of success. For best results, it should be done as early in the design and construction process as possible. For further information, please see www.iaru.org/satellite.
