Turns out HRO has some SSB units in stock including the SP-200 I wanted.  So I've ordered one there.

I hope HRO continues to stock the SSB units.

The Minikets a couple folks suggested looks like a great option as well, especially if I was going to expand the EME array and put a preamp at the feed of each antenna.

Only negative I can say about them is they like to use a pair of back to back diodes across the input, great for front end protection but when exposed to high levels of RF  like say from a HF rig they can rectify the signal creating wideband noise.

I'd appreciate leads on high quality mast mounted preamps for VHF.  AR2 doesn't answer their phone and some uni's I work with say it takes days to get a call back then AR2 didn't have the one they wanted and said they would not be making any more.  And SSB USA's recording says they are only available sporadically. Looks like I can order direct from SSB in Germany so that's an option.

Are there any low noise RF switched manufacturers/vendors in the U.S. these days? Where are folks getting preamps these days?
