At the 21:57 UTC U.S. pass of AO-85 tonight October 23 we will conduct a test with the transponder. Please do not uplink during that pass over the U.S. We encourage you to copy telemetry with FoxTelem during this pass and have it sent to the server, to aid in analyzing the test results. Thanks!

For the benefit of those of us outside of the United States, is this test only going on when over North America, going back to safe mode otherwise? Just wanted to know whether it was worth setting up to monitor when it passes over Asia.
FWIW it's just passed over Europe in transponder mode. (22.25UTC)
The map at the bottom of the page http://www.amsat.org/tlm/ shows all command stations are within the USA
MM0KJG / EA1JM and G5RR all heard with good signals

Please watch the AMSAT news outlets (web, Twitter, Facebook, -bb) for updates on testing and schedule October 26 – 30. We will likely do some more testing during the week.

My tracker predicts a 38° high pass tomorrow at 15:30 local time when it's over China. I expect a rugby scrum. LET'S DO THIS.
