LMR400 routed into the shack to the main transceiver. Curious how others have implemented a semi-elegant solution for using these antennas with FCD+ or other dongle requiring an SMA connection.
I know how to do it clumsily, I’m interested in learning how you're doing that nicely?

Hi Jeff, I use a thin, flexible jumper with SMA male into SDR and other end is either N-female or SO-239. Cheap on eBay or pretty easy to make.

Marks method exactly how I do it jumper pig tails so you don't have big connector strain.

You can also find the adapter cable that has a female N connector to the male SMA. Keeps you from needing an N barrel connector.
