Hi Folks, I understand that a European satellite that was circling the moon is scheduled to be crashed onto the moon at 0543 UTC tomorrow morning (3 Sept in the UK). It is claimed that the impact and cloud of debris thrown up from the moon should be visible through a small telescope or binoculars, if anyones interested, Regards Mike G3LGR

Too bad for us here the moon will not be full for us here and the darken part seems to be where the point of impact will be located :(
