Hi,
Did anybody happen to record the ISS pass at 11:07 UTC 21Oct2008? I made a contact with Richard, but didn't have the RECORD button pushed..
Thanks and 73,
Real Bummer!! Mark, I also made contact on that pass. I'll check and see if I have you on my recording too. I was only using a Texas Potato Masher here, but may have been enough gain over the whole pass for your contact.
Dave, AA4KN

Hi Dave, Mark and the BB
I have played my tape 3 times. I heard Richard confirm AA4KN at 11:05.30utc but can never pull out Marks call. It should have been a minute or so later. Tim, N3TL reported hearing it and WB2OQQ on that pass. I only heard Richard say the BQ call "I don't think I have that correct" at the end of my pass. Sorry that I can't help Mark out with the recording. I will listen again later at the 11:07utc time.

Thanks for checking, Rick. The time I gave might not be precise--it was quoted from memory (dangerous!). But it was that pass...it was plus/minus a minutes of 1107.
I actually got a return of my call yesterday morning too(and got that one recorded)--but he didn't respond to my further comments, so I tried again this morning. Today he came back with a "Nancy Eight Mountain Hotel" and then responded to my comments of gratitude for working all of the contacts during his visit! In the midst of that, he confirmed another station (K??Y?? have it written down at home...) as well.
The other calls you mention were all in the same pass, so the time is pretty close.
Thanks for checking! I went into the shack expecting SSTV and heard Richard talking, so it caught me by surprise(...I didn't click record)
Nonetheless, it was exciting :)
