This thread is getting so convoluted.

The rules are simple. You can only CLAIM on your submission ONE contact per transponder on an FM satellite. PERIOD. If you want to make 100 to show your friends how satellites work, go for it but you can only turn in one of those contacts for credit. Everyone else will thank you for helping them make theirone contact so you should be proud that you were helping out a fellow ham. It just does not benefit you.

So, my question is... If the extra contacts do not benefit you and you are helping all these other people to beat you, why do it?
